Interested in how many people get tomorrow off. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to work tomorrow and don't want to wakeup early if I don't have to.
 
I do, but that's only because I'm on "vacation" for the next week or two. Basically just takin' some time off. Otherwise I'd probably have work tomorrow.

Well I work for the Federal govt and State govt, and I'm not sure if I do or not. No one said anything to me.

Teachers (like my wife) work.

But the day care is closed as a "teacher's work day."

I'm so glad my mom can take a day off to watch my girl.
 
Thanks for reminding me of all the days I don't get off anymore... It was pretty great going to schools in Illinois, had nearly every day off. Casimir Pulaski Day, need I say any more? A holiday created to help get the Polish vote in elections.

I wonder if banks are open tomorrow, because I was going to deposit a few checks tomorrow... I always do that, show up & see they're closed, and be like, "D'oh, it's some holiday today."

Typicly the banks are closed for Columbus day... asuming you live in the US.

gotta love commerce bank, they open 7 days a week and most holidays.
 
I got tomorrow off, but friday was my last day... but I asked my boss if he can pay me until monday, and he said yes! 😀😀
 
not me.

we used to have columbus day off, but they changed it for this year... now, we work columbus day, but in exchange, we get the friday after thanksgiving off.

(I should use off in quotation marks... we're open 24/7, so some people still get shafted and have to come in)

I'd rather have a four day Thanksgiving weekend then a three day Columbus Day weekend. 😀

Same. We get a 4 day for Thanksgiving.
 
i get the day off, but i am will be in the office cranking out some work (luckily only for a few hours), 🙁.

oh well... that is life...
