Man, what an experience. I arrived at the theater at 10:30am (3 hours before it started) and I got home at 2:30am the next day. Craziness. It was great seeing the extended editions on the big screen, and then following it up with ROTK. It felt like one big movie. I'll never forget it.
And who else wants to kiss New Line for what they gave those who attended?
This is probably my favorite piece of LOTR memorabilia (and I have a lot). It's a polystone film frame, and contains 3 real 35mm film frames from the movies (one from FOTR, TTT, and ROTK) and each piece is totally unique. When it was all over I scoured the whole theater and found one extra one on the floor.
Feel sorry for the poor fool who left it there....these are fetching anywhere from $30 to $100+ on ebay already. No way in hell I'd sell these though. They're so f*cking cool.
