Who else thinks that HotChic looks a litte bit like Cate Blanchett in LOTR?

I finally saw the 3rd trilogy today and when Cate Blanchett appearred and smiled, all of a sudden I realized that HotChic looks a little bit like her. Does anyone else think the same way?

Also, did anyone else like Miranda Otto who played Eowyn of Rohan? For some reason, attractive girls who can fight are always....well, attractive to me. Was this character in the book? If so, did the book also have this character really killed that "thing who cannot be killed by men"? I heard that Tolkien didn't really have a lot of experience with girls and therefore his books didn't have many female characters.

It's not an exact likeness, but I got the same impression. They have similar features.

You aren't missing much. I saw the first in theatres, haven't bothered to watch the second even though my roommates own the DVD.

I think you missed the point of the thread.

Paige's name has been discussed ad nauseum, this thread was simply a question of whether or not she looked like Cate Blanchett.

Take your opinions elsewhere, unless you plan to post pics of your own for public judgement.
