We're goin all out tonight.. 25 dollar buy in for a 5 card draw tourny... single winner gets the pot minus food and entertainment costs... so far, at least 8 people are comin! this is somethin i'll prolly run more often at school.. of course i might have to lower the stakes and give away alcohol prizes 😛

me. texas hold'em 0wnz. i rob my friends whenever we play that game 😀
 
yeah, next one will be texas hold'em or 7 card.. we're startin basic 😛 i hate when people start playin gay games.. thats why im stickin it to one game
 
in college i played poker every sunday with my friends.

now i play every other tuesday with work buddys we have a texas holdem tournament with a $10 buy in, we usually have around 13 or 14 people play, it starts out limit for the first 3 rounds and goes to no limit then.

its really fun, i enjoying playing poker a lot.
 
We started playing our senior year in high school and still play occasionally. I remember some nights during the summer would really get out of hand. We would have up to 10 people playing with buy in's between $50-$100 a person. Its pretty interesting to win a $100 pot on a single hand in a small time poker game. Of course all of my friends were hardcore.
 
my friends got me into poker and now I love it. we are really hardcore though, apparently. max bets of 2.50, quarter, fifty cents and dollar chips. usually 20 dollar buy in. we play a few times a week.

one night one of my friends got together aroudn 15 people, we played for 12 hours straight, 30 dollars buy in. it was incredible. haha


edit: now with minithug's post above me, i guess we look don't look as hardcore anymore 😛. but for casual poker playing between friends, its pretty big money i suppose....
 
Well, it wasnt really that hardcore to me, I just liked to put my friends in the poorhouse. 😉 The other guys were just poker addicts.
 
If you are going to have 8 people, you really need to play Chicago or Texas Hold 'em. If you have 8 playing that is 40 cards on the flop. If each person requests two cards you have already used more than in the deck. Playing with two decks sucks, so more than likely you are going to have to play the above mentioned. Either that or 5-stud(which sucks).

My friends and I play M&M poker. We're all poor college students so playing for money is out of the question. But we still have a blast. 😀
 
Poker's good. The only problem I have with M&M poker is that I wind up eating my stakes.

Don't have that problem when I play for money.
 
what do you think im a noob? we had two tables of 5.. top two came off each table.. i destroyed my first table.. but ended up 3rd overall.. was a total of 5 hour of playing..

tournament style.. duh.. final 2 still goin
