I am. It's okay though it's the norm for the industry I'm in. I have financial goals I want to meet so I suck it up. I saw a thread 3 days ago about who's working 3 days before Xmas. Lol.

I'm working. gogo internet services industry.

but I'm working from home and I'm going to take a 2 hour "lunch" break to go have brunch with my family in a bit (during which I'll be on-call for any emergencies, but other than 1 issue that I woke up to this morning, it's been quiet).

I like holidays that are more or less global... what kills me is working stuff like July 4th, where all the US offices are on a skeleton crew but our foreign clients still expect normal, weekday levels of service.

Yep, 7-7. No holiday pay either, Friday was the city holiday. Working then to so still got it. Holiday pay is nice to, double time and a half.

I had a major project to finish last week. I worked 8am to midnight 3 weds-thursday. Luckily I got the project done, so I have all next week off.

i did my time at bestbuy during the holidays once. boxing day was the biggest gongshow i could have possibly imagined.

Haven't had to for at least 4 years. Last time was at my part-time job. Streets were deserted when I walked to work, and it was depressingly quiet throughout the day. Instead, I'm neffing at home.
