I'm slowly recovering (I hope) from serious medical problems. So far I've had my breakfast oatmeal & meds, read for a while, had lunch (more meds), some keyboard time and listened to the Yankee game, and had cocoa & cookies and more pills.

What are you other stay-inside folks up to?

Well I did my fun earlier in the weekend but I have to paint my kitchen by Tuesday. Damn kitchen walls are all greasy. Prep is gonna take the longest.

Stuck?
No not stuck. But I know better than to freaking go anywhere. I will travel no further than my 7-11. Anything else and I risk being run over by pissed off families in sweaty, stinky minivans.

Meh, I went to the mall today and it was like a zoo. Unseasonably cold too. Would rather have been inside.

Totally stuck... Aggravated an old back injury a couple of days ago, and I can't even stand up straight. :(

Spent the majority of last night several hundred feet below millions of gallons of water, and i'll be doing the same tonight.

I'm working from home today.

I had planned on going into the office (otherwise I'd have bought groceries on my way home last night instead of starving now) but I woke up 2 hours late and with the holiday train schedule, I was just like fuck it.

once I'm done with my shift I'm going over to my parents' house, though. they're BBQ'ing and, while it'll probably be over and done by the time I get there, I can at least bum some leftovers from them.

I was recently diagnosed with very high blood pressure (like 175/125). I've been on meds and I feel so much better. The bottle says to avoid exposure to the sun, but I went out into my yard to clear weed and brush and stuff. Wrong.

I felt like I ran a marathon after just 30 minutes.

I finished it up and now I'm going to play Civ 4. :p

What're you on? I'm recovering from heart failure and I take a couple dozen meds, including most of the blood pressure ones. All the side effects are killing me. The docs say let's get your numbers down first and then we'll worry about the other problems, but I'm not so sure.

Have a great time with Civ 4!

Benazepril. I really feel a lot better. I've lost 20 pounds, my pressure is down in the 105-115/75-90 area, my sinus problems are gone, and I don't spend every sixth night vomiting for 12 hours.

Not too bad. :p

Ah, an ACE inhibitor - for that, I'm on ramipril (Altace) because it's generic - I can't afford the brand names. Glad to hear it's working for you. Wow, you had some bad problems from high blood pressure, or was the vomiting and sinus from something else?

Have a great evening.
