We've got 6+ inches in DC and falling.

I was suppose to leave this morning for SLC for two days, followed by a week in the SFO area. Well, all flights out of the DC area have been canceled.

So I'm snowed in!

Anyone else have their travel plans altered?

South Jersey. Me and my Company were supposed to work today but I canceled. Sure they were happy (and I don't mind either :p).

I actually flew in last night before the storm hit. The airport was jam packed with stranded travelers. I was glad to have gotten out of there. Comfortably at home now in bed. Hopefully the roads clear up by tonight.

As an Alaskan who recently moved to Virginia, I have to laugh at how snow shuts down everything here.

I wish I was snowed in. Have my last final today and my prof just wouldn't budge on exemption.

I am. There's nothing yet, but my gf has snow phobia. I know I could go to the first showing of Avatar and be ok, but I'd have to hear her whining for the rest of the weekend. I should so say F it!!!

 on the avatar beck!! I loved that movie.

it's my favorite movie, the best is watching the TV edited version of it, they sub in the funniest words

"Minute, wait a minute, wait stop right there! Listen: Stop right there, man. A man goes into a restaurant. You listenin'? A man goes into a restaurant, and he sits down, he's having a bowl of soup and he says to the waiter, waiter come taste the soup. Waiter says: Is something wrong with the soup? He says: Taste the soup. He says: Is there something wrong
with the soup? Is the soup too hot? He says: Will you taste the soup? What's wrong, is the soup too cold? Will you just taste the soup?! Allright, I'll taste the soup - where's the spoon?? Aha. Aha! ...
Whadaya know from funny, ya bastahds?"" <--best joke ever???

We were supposed to get some, but no snow for me. Probably going to head into work in about an hour once it warms up a little outside.

Happily...no snow here.

It is cool and gray...and foggy though.

We MIGHT get some rain this coming week however.

Looking at about 1'6" snow out my window. I don't think I'll be going anywhere for a while!

anything less then 3 feet is not snowed in. even then, it'll only slow you down.

i'm glad we are getting a break from the snow.
