I'm in Broward County...it's going to be a Cat1 which won't be too bad as far as wind goes...but 6-12 inches of rain sucks.

comparing cold weather to a potentially deadly hurricane two fatalities so far...and thousands of homes with no power...

my sister is there (broward, hollywood more specifically). my parents are here (ny), so she's the only one home. she just started her senior year of high school and she's fending for herself :Q

i wonder if she can go outside to get food to eat. hmm...

just found out. they turned power off in hollywood, so she's staying with her friend at a hotel in plantation that's running off of a generator while the rest of the area is still out of power :Q
