Who else here hates Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear?

After seeing The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly he seems to have develop this hatred against Jeremy. Most likely do to Jeremy's totally bias views between American and European cars. My friend owns a honda civic hatchback with a swapped motor.

Any ways the other day a bunch of us were hanging out and I was watching top gear videos on a computer hooked up to the tv. It was the one with Jeremy getting shot at by some Irish soldiers while he drove 2 cars. He starts whining about how bogus it is and in real life he'd be dead already. I felt like punching him in the mouth to shut him up.

I mean I don't always agree with guy (Jeremy) but I do find him entertaining and that's what it's all about. Entertainment. Yet my friend takes it as if Jeremy was getting blown by his gf while smoking his little civic.

sometimes clarkson goes overboard, especially when comparing two totally different bracket vehicles (example: chrysler 300C SRT8 vs. BMW M5.. no shit the M5 is better, but people sure as hell aren't going to cross-shop the two given the price differential)

otherwise, TG is informative and entertaining, even if they aren't completely scientific/objective

LOL, the Top Gear "bias" is part of what makes it entertaining! Just watch any of the "Cool Wall" segments! Reminds me of "In Living Color" when the Wayans did Men On Film--"HATED IT! NEXT!"

iirc, the problem was actually with the aftermarket (or at least, not standard equipment in the US) security system.

and the fact that it doesn't fit on roads in england.

JC also hates European cars, he got himself in trouble when he was happy that Rover went broke. He also laughs also all the time with French cars. If you got worked up because of a car show then you have some serious issues

haha, one of the last eps of season 10 was great, the one where they each bought a british leyland car. Never in his life has he been anywhere near as mean to US cars as he was to everything ever produced by BL ...

I don't agree with him all the time, but he hosts a great and entertaining TV show, and he's the biggest reason why it's so good.

Now that this is now on BBC America I can finally see what the hoopla is about. I have 3 or 4 episodes on my dvr, and tomorrow is a snow day! He better live up to the hype!
