Who else hates the way Harleys sound?

T3 - 95. Bought it in 96 on an employee purchase program Triumph had. Weighs a ton, but the only time I notice the weight is when I'm pushing it around my garage. Of course, you already know that.

I never really liked the later models. They had sort of a "cocktail napkin engineering" look to them, and they were blowing head gaskets left and right for a while.

The rear brake pads are worn out, so I may use that as an excuse to get a new bike.

The T3 motor also sounds about 10,298,296 times better than the T5. The T5 sounds a lot like a Civic with a coffee can on it whereas the T3 sounds like sex on two wheels.

And yeah, they're piggy, but nice once you're moving as long as you don't do anything approaching a "flick".....those things don't "flick"......flop maybe, but definitely no flicking.

I like the sound of an engine as it sounds thru a nice muffler. The muffler leaves out only the most beautiful sounds go out.
And the Harley-type engines sounds interesting, just like I would expect a farm appliance to sound

Love Harleys. They're alot like old cars .... uncomfortable, slow (to today's standards), but a heck of a lot of fun.

I have a 70 Vette and a buddy has a 2003 Vette. His is far more comfortable, gets better gas mileage, and will run circles around mine. I'd take the 70 anyday.
