Y'know, the thing they always show on TV, having people take the "Pepsi Challenge" where they have you drink both and don't tell you which is which-then you say which one you think is better?

I took it last year at Oshkosh-I chose Coke.🙂

BTW, just so all you know how it's done: They give you an ice cold Pepsi out of a cooler or refrigerator, and then give you a Coke which has obviously just been sitting outside cause it's warm. Pepsi is so full of sh!t. 😀 Which do you prefer? Ice cold Pepsi or Coke that's been in sitting in the sun for several hours?😉
 
i took the test at lesat 8 yrs back (in canada) and i chose pepsi., i can tell which is what.
coke has nasty caffeiene after taste that makes your teeth all sticky
 
Nothing beats coke for a breakfest drink when you're so sleepy you might spill coffee on yourself.

It's pretty good on cocoa puffs too
 
you can easily tell which is pepsi and which is coke... I took it a couple of years ago at a mall, and I chose coke just for the hell of it... 🙂
 
My frined hates pepsi. So he took the challenge at summerfest. He drank the first one and knew it was coke and said "Oh this is good" Next he drank the other one, which of course was pepsi, so as soon as he put it in his mouth, he spat is all on the ground and said "This tastes like shit" Then the guy had to ask which do you prefer, and he was sort of scared asking it. My friend of course points to the coke, he takes the tops off and coke it is.

Whatever they give you first you will prefer. Since your taste buds are stimulated from the sweet taste, when you drink the second drink they're at a higher baseline (meaning it tastes less sweet and more bitter). I'm not sure if I explained this correctly, but something similar is eating some ice cream or some pastry and then drinking a Sprite right after. The Sprite ends up tasting like club soda.
 
As a fan of the superior drink (Pepsi), I could certainly tell the difference. Some years back when Hardee's sold both Coke and Pepsi, I ordered Pepsi and watched the guy fill me a Coke instead. When I called him on it, he said the Pepsi tank was being refilled and what's the difference.

When I said I could tell the difference, he said he'd pour a small cup of each, and if I knew which was which I wouldn't have to pay for my lunch. (Dumb of him to give anyone a 50/50 chance for a free lunch, with no downside to being wrong!)

He brought the cups over when the Pepsi was refilled and I got a free lunch.
 
i took the pepsi challenge here in chicago.

of course I chose the superior cola, COKE, but I have to add something:

They do make you eat a cracker in between(to get the first taste out of your mouth), but I believe it makes the second drink taste less sweet, which (in my experience) was pepsi. To me, it made it seem like they were making the pepsi taste more like coke, as they know coke drinkers don't appreciate the sweeter pepsi taste.

coke drinker here. i really cant tell a big difference, but coke is often more cheaper here where i live.
