It was pretty crazy. We gave away and auctioned 35k worth of prizes and according to my estimates, every man woman and child averaged two pounds of food each. We were down a little from last year about 425 people instead of 525 people. Still, the single biggest party of the year.

I think that my HR department allows us to us to take off MLK day as a "Floating Holiday". No sane person would, though, because it's 5 degrees outside right now.

The boss is getting soft with age. While on the job, I got a call on the phone, and he said I could come back in since it was so cold out. I declined. I've been colder, and I had stuff to do. You should have seen the nonsense I worked in years ago when it really got cold. He'd send you out to do whatever stupid shit. Not even urgent stuff :rollseyes:
