But if it's any consolation, we have more than enough gear to do parties. We're mainly a sound re-enforcement company, but rent to a lot of DJ's. A standard "DJ Rig"/rave system would consist of one
Crown MA-5000VZ (w/PIP Crossover/Limiter Card) and 2
JBL SR-4732x Hi-Packs and 2 JBL SR-4719X Double 18" Subs, pretty much the same system that we'd do for a full band (minus the Console, Monitors, and Processing). As well as 2 Technics 1200 Turntables, and a Denon DN-2600F or DN-9000 Dual CD Deck. Of course that's about as big of a DJ System we'd rent out, Like I said we're mainly a SR company, specializing in Live Performance (Mostly Bands) , Small to Medium Venues (up to 5000 People).
This is the standard sytem for a small to medium sized club, we can go smaller or bigger if needed.
As far as special effect lighting/DJ Lighting we rent a LOT of Martin Roboscan 812's, 518's and 918's, Acrobats, and Destroyers and your usual assortment of Par Cans. It seems that most of the DJ's arounf here have most of their own lighting.
