I know I sure did. I was stoked about it this year because my friends from my home town came to visit. They got here Wednesday and we went out and chilled in the mall. Turkey Day arrives and I'm doing fine except for the hunger I feel because I'm waiting to eat. I chill with my friends until 3 PM when dinner is ready and we all get to my house. We circle up for grace and lo and behold I black out. I come to just as they get done praying and apparently my Auntie Kathy had been pulling my arm for me to close my eyes. When I finally realize that I had just blacked out I almost throw up on the food. I get myself a blanket and pass out in front of the fire place and apparently I had some delirious ramblings in my fevered state. Friday comes and when I get up I'm feeling great. That sure didn't last long. I started coughing up nice big globs of mucus straight from the lungs. Yummy. :D:disgust: I lie on the couch all day watching broadcast television. Oh yay just what I need, football, infomercials, and crappy gameshows to make me feel better. I haven't eaten a thing since Thursday morning's breakfast. Today rolls around and wow I don't have a fever. I sure am coughing up stuff though. I am able to eat! Even if my meal is a little bowl of green bean casserole and a roll I am quite full. Anyway, who else wants to share in the misery?

i had one of the best i have had in years.

went to my parents and it was just me, my wife, daughter and grandmother. they didn't invite my sisters.

we were able to talk and enjoy dinner (my step-mother can cook really well!). then my dad played with my daughter until he was beat and had to take a nap (i was already napping on the love seat).

it was a great day.

I didn't get sick until after Thanksgiving. Came down with flu like symptoms. Hope you get better. :)

I had to dig up and repair the underground power cable from the meter to our breaker box, cause 1/2 the house had power, and none of the 220 stuff worked.

Other than that, it rocked.

Yeah I have a few medical conditions but I think I just have a recurrence of a nasty ass virus. I went to the doctor last week because my ears hurt, I was coughing stuff up, had sinus pressure and pain, and I was running out of albuterol. The doctor said there wasn't anything infected and that I just had one of the nastiest viruses he's seen. Anyway the symptoms this time are pretty much the same except for fever and loss of appetite. I'll feel better in a few days.

Meh.

I had turkey, in roast form.
I had dressing (or stuffing :roll;).
I had cranberry sauce.
I had Coke.

I had a better Thanksgiving than at least a few billion people, so I consider that plenty to be thankful for.

My Thanksgiving was pretty typical.
Went out to my aunts house. Everyone was there except for my dad and one of my cousins and his family. That sucked because my cousin and my grandpa are the two people I enjoy hanging out with the most. The cable was out and, to cap it all off, i had to listen to EVERYONE in my damned mom's side of the family talk about how great my cousin is. Nobody gives a fsck about anybody else in that family. Oh well, it wasn't too bad, wasn't too great.

We had to take my Grandpa to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day. They thought it was pneumonia, but they ran plenty of exotic tests on whatever came out of his lungs. Fortuntely, we got results of the tests back today, and they were all negative. Overall though, it was pretty decent, especially since we weren't in school. It's so nice to have a day or so off.
