I would have to think the quantity of pasta being sucked versus that being shoveled in would be high and causing an unnecessary mess.

I've always eaten noodles with a fork but since I've been in Korea the last couple of months and you pretty much eat everything here with chopsticks I've started to eat noodles with chopsticks too.

I'll eat spaghetti and linguine with whatever is available, if not chopsticks then fork, etc. But asian noodles I'll eat with chopsticks.

i do. just easier. if you are proficient with chopsticks a fork tends to be rather inferior.

Asian food = Chopsticks even if fork/spoon is easier for rice. Sometimes I might switch to fork/spoon for my rice, but for noodles it's always chopsticks.

Pasta and non Asian food I tend to stick to the fork. Why? It just seems like it.

I eat every meal at home with chopsticks no matter what the food is except soup, now that is tricky!

So just one chopstick? Or do you mean chopsticks? I'd imagine eating noodles with a single chopstick to be a bitch.

Doesn't the sauce that typically comes with italian food cause a mess when eaten this way? Not to mention you can't cut giant meatballs with a chopstick, and that's the best part! ;)

What kind of meatballs are you talking about? I've never had a problem cutting things with my chopsticks, particularly something soft like a meatball.

I hate chopsticks. Never really learned to use em properly, and just prefered a fork. It can do everything the sticks can do and better.
