Not a turkey, but a couple of cornish hens on the rotisserie attachment for my grill. I've got a rotisserie burner in the back of my grill.

I let them cook about 2 hours on there basting them in butter a couple times throughout the 2 hours.

The meat just fell off the bones. Sooooooo good.

We deep fried ours. My parents are currently staying in a hotel until all the house is rebuilt.

We just did a Tur-duc-hen this year and have about two gallon bags left of it in the fridge.

There aren't going to be any more Turduckens for a while, are there? Didn't the factory get destroyed in the hurricane?

We did it on the smoker. My dad's from Cajunland, so he has a big charcoal grill with an offset smokebox he knocked together from a couple oil drums and some iron pipe. Throw in my Italian mother, and we had a delicious thanksgiving.

Are those Turduckens boneless? Do they only have them around Thanksgiving? How much do they usually cost?

Oven here, although I've deep fried before, and smoked. Makes no difference to me.

I smoked a turkey this year. First I brined it over night and in the smoker for 3 1/2 hours.
