Who do I have to screw around here to get a 3D physics sandbox program?

Something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

And, if you're making one because there are none out there, then I want 10% royalty. :awe:

when I was a kid, I wanted one of those "catastrophy simulators" that simulated fires spreading, accidents, etc.

i guess they were all just prerendered CGI though :(

Pickup a FEA code like Ansys. Or maybe ADAMS if you just want rigid body physics.

SimEarth kind of did that. Little icons representing destruction was pretty disappointing though.

Yeah... SimEarth would be awesome if it was redone today using modern graphics. It would be fun to send a giant asteroid to destroy and flood an entire continent, for example.

Rigs of Rods is not what you are looking for, but it's free, and it may meet some of your desires.
