Who do I have to kill?

I saw one of those on the freeway a couple months ago. Beautiful car and the sound it was making was astonishing. I'd love to just even have the chance to drive one.

I saw one in person... makes the same awesome noise, just looks a lot better. 🙂

For some reason the QP has never really spoken to me. If your heart continues to burn for one they should be reasonably cheap as used cars within a few years (though no doubt hideously expensive to maintain).

These things are dropping in price like crazy. I've seen samples as low as 35k but most will be around 40-50. I'm not big on the looks but that engine note is sublime. There is nothing new on the market that sounds as good as a slightly used Quattroporte.

Beautiful car, friend has driven one to the max. He's also driven the M6, wants that one really badly. 😛

This is a great saloon car, but the coupe Xanis linked to--eh it's alright, if you gave me one as a present, I'd keep it, but I wouldn't buy one. The QP is the only Masa I'd ever buy at this point--although I'd be caught between the QP and the E63 AMG 😛

I see tons of those things including the 2 doors. I was getting a flat tire plugged when a guy with a Maserati pulled in with a wrecked tire. I said nice car and he just blew me off. What a douche.

People who drive those kinds of cars tend to be defensive about it when personally discussing it...they don't like to advertise they have them in the "wrong" company, because they don't want to be stabbed, as demonstrated in the OP 😛

Not that douche. He looked at me like I was bum asking for change.

That is probably it as well.

Depending how old he was, it could be he felt insecure about the car because his parents got it for him, he married into money, he lives in a shack in order to pay for this car, any myriad of reasons.

Sounds like a flake, and you can live your life knowing no matter what you drive, at least you earned it.

looking at the pics in that ebay link, i gotta say i'm just not impressed. maybe i'd feel different sitting in it, but it just doesn't look like 100k+ luxury car inside. outside's pretty sexy, though.

also the engine bay reminds me of a kia amanti- covering everything up with plastic (and not going a very good job of it) does not mimic the engine bay of a high end italian car, it just makes it look silly.

Beautiful exterior... I love the stitching on the seats, but I can't stand the center console or the steering wheel; they look cheap.

i test drove this car last year, received a targeted test drive offer (based on house prices). My friends at google were all targeted too.

Nice interior and it has very little body roll for a car this size, yes the engine makes a very nice sound b/c its basically a ferrari engine. But the transmission was terrible for the engine, its a ZF 6 speed automatic (same one you can find in cars like a bmw 335). Would not buy - not that I could have afforded it anyways.

Yea, my Dad test drove this as well two years ago, he thought it was leagues above anything he's driven...but he drives a 1994 Dodge Caravan. -_-

He just doesn't get cars. He used to, he doesn't anymore.
