I've been thinking about who made the first internet webiste. does anybody have any thoughts on this?

didn't the military make the first internet website to make information flow faster within the military? that's what i heard, i think...

I thought the internet was first created by doctors and lab scientist and what not to share medical information and findings.

actually, the internet was originally a network of interconnected computers to transmit tactical defense information over a worldwide grid. it was made by the US government, based off research done at various science facilities on computer networking. the key was to create a network with no central assigning process... thing
 
First general website, or first commercial website? DEC was responsible for the latter.

Yes Tim Berners Lee(I think this is right) created the first actual web page. The url was something like http://info.cern.cz or some such, but I may have that mixed up a bit. I read this somewhere recently.
