who changed my SETI Driver settings?

I've been using seti driver for several months. I have it set for "no proxy/socks"
(if you don't use seti driver, the config panel look like this)
About a week ago or so when I got to work I checked to see how many WU were finished, and noticed that the settings were changed.
the proxy server button was checked, and the host and port fields had entries in them.

I changed the settings back (without writing down what the entries were - yeah, I'm an idiot), my question is how could these have changed. I am the only one with access to my machine (I run win2k and leave it locked when I'm away).

Hmm ,not sure ,but are the WU's still being done under your E mail add?

i'm not sure how long the settings were changed for, so i can't say if i missed a few WUs. I don't think my computer was hacked, i was wondering if it has some proxy addresses built in that it uses if it can't connect to the berkeley servers.

I have had the same experience even though I've just layed it off as being my own fault. I have no idea what could have caused this. I on a modem and therefore I send the WU's manually when needed.

Stranger & stranger ,as far as I know SETIDriver has no default proxy settings

ddiccico did reply in the "inactive" thread to say he sometimes goes for a few days w/o reporting activity, but was still doing Seti. I wonder if his leaving TA has anything to do with this the subject in this thread, perhaps indirectly?

I just finished a lengthy research and reply to the , "S@H daily team stats 06/28", where the whereabouts of ddiccico was the topic.

As I checked the DC forum for any new threads, I see this one. Dang, all that work for nothing and I sent an unnecessary email to him. Excuse me ddiccico.
