Who can help with Bios settings.....I'm totally clueless and don't want to screw up.

My startup time to Win98SE is slower than my old computer and the damn thing locks up in games. I NEED help. Here's the set-up:

FIC AD-11
1.2GHz AMD 266 (not o/c)
256Mb PC2100 DDR
VisionTek GeForce2 Ultra
Sound Blaster XGamer5.1
IBM 30G HDD
12x10x32x CD-RW (don't remember brand)
16x DVD (Pioneer)
300w amd approved p/s
and Win98SE

Locks up playing SeaDogs and the bundled games that came with the sound card.
