Who Can Grizzlies get for Shareef Abdur Rahim???

It seem like Shareef Abdur Rahim wants out of the Vancouver Grizzlies. I don't blame him.......... 5 years of losing can kinda get you down........ it sure gets me down (long time Grizzlies fan).

Who do you think that the Grizzlies can get for him???

He wont have too much trouble finding a home. The sad thing is to contemplate what the Grizzlies will be like without him...

I feel for Shareef as much as I can for a person who makes millions playing half of the year for a game he would probably play for nothin'. Losing sucks and he's been very classy about it.

Let's hope we get some good up and coming players and some draft picks. We can only hope ..

It's tough for small-market teams like the Grizzlies. It seems like they will be bad perpetually. Part of the problem is that, as far as I understand, the salaries are capped at the US$ rate, but paid out with the CDN$, so teams have less money to spend. Also, I believe Canada has much higher taxes than the U.S. does.

Shareef will end be being traded for draft picks, who will want out of Vancouver. Look at Steve Francis: I have to love the guy because he went to the same high school and college as me (well 3 years before me at least), but he definately pulled a bitch move by requesting out of Vancouver.
