I miss the beginning of the summer when my mom used to pack my lunch for me everyday before work🙂
They'd give me chips, an apple, sandwich and a gatorade. Now I pack my own lunch and it sucks and never is as good...I eat out like once a week...

I bring Campbells Microwaveable soup to work.

I've done this a few times but i'm hungry an hour later!

Campbells soup sucks, go with Progresso. Their soups are the best pre-made on the market.

Does progresso make their soups in microwavable containers tho? I would hate to have to empty out the canned ones into a bowl and have to wash it after. The cambell's ones comes in a disposable, microwavable container.

That's a great idea. Then you can fill up the local landfill in no time.

I'm in a phase of coming off of eating lunch out almost every day. Like last week, for example. Today I brought lunch from home... but only because my wife made it for me. She can't all the time because she works too. Anyway, I'm trying to kick the eat out habit because it's too expensive. About $6 or $7 is my average lunch.

OUCH!

Anyway, it's a struggle. Eating out:
1) tastes good
2) is easy
3) gets me away from work for an hour

Today I had Progresso split pea soup, a ham sandwich, and a banana.

Also a suggestion: keep a microwave popcorn at work for emergencies.
