Who brings their lunch to work?

I'm attempting to start bringing my lunch to work more. What are some easy and filling things to make besides the regular sandwich?

I do on occasion...

I usually bring frozen dinners in, and also get apple sauce cups, V8, and stuff like that to keep me filled up during the day. I'm way too lazy to make sandwiches everyday!

Sunday night make a huge pot of spaghetti and bring it for lunch all week along with some bread or chips. Sandwiches on some days to break the monotony.

i make extra the night before for dinner sometimes and bring steak and bakers
pasta, things like that. had corned beef and cabbage for lunch today, meatloaf yesterday

Put leftovers each night from dinner (make bigger dinners when you're cooking something that would make a good lunch) into microwavable storage containers and freeze them. When you are ready to leave, grab one. It'll stay safely cold until lunch. Add a piece of fruit and a bottle of water (that you've refilled from home or fill at work.)

I've done this a few times but i'm hungry an hour later!

Campbells soup sucks, go with Progresso. Their soups are the best pre-made on the market.

Does progresso make their soups in microwavable containers tho? I would hate to have to empty out the canned ones into a bowl and have to wash it after. The cambell's ones comes in a disposable, microwavable container.

*coughlazy!!cough* Just pour it into a disposable glad container and chuck it when you are done. It is still cheaper then eating out to lunch everyday.

Peanut butter sandwich.

Day...
after day..
after day........

We do have a cafeteria that sells variety of lunches everyday, pretty cheap too. But do it 2-3 times a day, over the course of a month, it really does add up.

Just make your own soup and put it in a disposable container. You can avoid excessive salt and cost 🙂
