I started our morning by making cinnamon buns..later we had spinach and artichoke
dip with foccia bread. Dinner was a large glazed ham, squash, green beans, rice, hot rolls.
Dutch apple pie.

It feels like all we've done all day is eat and take naps:)

Homemade belgian waffles with crispy bacon for breakfast. Chinese take out for lunch. Dinner is prime rib and 10lbs of king crab legs, shrimp scampi, grilled shrimp skewers, red velvet cake, and some other stuff. :)

Sad I work at 5am tomorrow so I can't really enjoy it. :)

Not today but yesterday. Enough for two days.
Ham, collard greens, fatback, baked sweet potatoes, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, some other stuff I still don't know what it is (have to love it when everyone brings something).

Just wish my grandma was here for it. She was the best cook. They said all that stuff she cooked was bad for your health, not for her, she died at 98.

I ate just enough. Regardless of how good everything looked I was able to regulate the amount I put in my plate. Think it helped that I was not SUPER hungry at the time.

This way, I had enough room for the desert, and now for the chocolates I'm raiding from the kitchen.

I also had wine for the first time today. Very, different taste. Not even close to what I expected. Not something I'd see myself drink a lot but a once and a while thing maybe. Was red wine.

How is it cooked/served JohnCU?[/quote]

grandma fries it sometimes and eats it like bacon, other times we put it in vegetables for seasoning.

I've been eating way too much. Especially since I've got about four weeks in the field coming up after my leave. Ugh.

Polish breakfast (kielbasa, pierogies, and eggs) with coffee and Christmas cookies

Antipasta (sweet peppers, artichokes, olive assortment, meats, bruchetta, taboule, spinach and artichoke dip) for appetizers

Ham, lasagna, broccoli with cheese, sweet potatoes with maple syrup, salad

Cheesecake, cookies, pumpkin pie, rum cake, italian pastries, venetians

My stomach is on strike.

Me too, at my brothers in the morning.
For dinner at my sisters we had turkey & stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, yams, salad & rolls.
Dessert was blueberry pie & a yellow cake of some sort that everyone raved about but i didn't have any.
