They basically offered him the same deal that they gave to Schilling.
He is not as good a pitcher as Schilling, he should take it and run.
Pedro will wait to see if The Boss wants to make an offer for him before he signs anything.

That doesn't suprise me. I would almost bet the farm on Pedro not wearing a Red Sox uniform come next season.

it's been speculated since game three that he would talk to the yankees, no surprises.
If he gets more than 20mil at NY, i think that'd surprise me.

The Sox supposedly are not going to up their offer significantly.
You guys don?t need to pay him crazy money anyway.

He should take the red sox offer. With pedro/schilling pitching there should be plenty of championships to come.:) (definitely worth more than $$$$)

Not related to the Red Sox, but the Tiger's signed Troy Percival.

Edit: regarding Pedro, he's a free agent just looking for a good deal. He'll sign with the Red Sox, but he's just trying to get the best contract possible from them.
