3rd Gen iPod. I'll probably stick with it until the touchscreen one comes out. Also buying my mom one of the new Nanos in the next couple of days.

1st gen iPod: 5GB, shaped like and weighs like a brick, complete with mechanical scroll wheel and full-sized Firewire port. You'll pull it from my cold dead hands, I was here first damnit.😀

Bought a 2GB Nano last week (refurb for $100). Even though iTunes has some bloat with QT, I'm pretty impressed with the organizing/naming system. Sound quality is pretty good too.

I'm thinking I'm going to buy a new 2nd get iPod Nano, black. The one downside to the iPod I have is that is so big (physical size)

I think I'm the only one with the 1st generation iPod and still using it. If you have had multiple iPods, poll whichever one you are currently using and then tell us how many you've had overall in the thread.

And for those of you who have a first gen iPod can you please check this thread and let me know on this? The more I look today, the more I can only assume that the cable and or adapter that I need isn't something thats being made.

I am actually listening to my 10GB first-gen iPod right this minute. I have a Newertech battery upgrade that provides something like 22 hours of battery life, and it still suits my needs for the most part. I'll look at your other thread to see if I have any suggestions.

I own 4 different iPods currently.

60GB 5G iPod Video
80GB 6G iPod Video
4GB 1G iPod Nano
8GB 2G iPod Nano

And I love each of them 😀

Ipod Nano, white, 4GB version, 1G.

Bought the white over the black because it seemed like the black would show scratches more.
