Who actually found Equilibrium good?

I rented it after hearing good things about it here in OT, and I couldn't finish it. Sat through about an hour and a half of it, and couldn't take anymore. It seemed like a direct rip from 1984 and Fareinheit 451, but without anything original to make it stand out. I found the fight scenes extremely boring. Thank you. I love action movies and intellectual movies, but this movie just plain sucked. Having no sequel before it I had no expectations coming into seeing it, but gawd I just hated it

i liked this movie. it wasnt like great or anything, but a pretty decent plot.
