Just read that Whitehouse.com isnt a porn site anymore.

Anyone know what happened?

looks like its the same ownership so i guess they figured they would make more money with the new site.

considering children may have accidentally accessed the webpage via ".com" instead of ".gov" for school research, it is very possible that those who want to protect the children may have threatened the owners of whitehouse.com with a lawsuit. that's what i'd hope, at least. it's not cool to exploit innocents with pornography, especially minors and younger children.

The guy who owned the site had children who were growing up. He started to feel ashamed and didn't want to have to explain to his kids how he was running a porn site so he shut it down. He even went so far as to try to sell the domain name, but the buyers had to be screened by him first so that he'd know they wouldn't use the site name for something questionable. There were some articles about it a while back.

wow... that site was making serious coin. cant believe he shut it down.

one can argue that site guarenteed his childrens future. so isnt like shooting himslf in the foot?

It's not an educational site now. It's still a misleading advertisment scumscam. In fact, I think it's more offensive than a porn site now.
