My work is looking for some type of information sharing program. A free one would be best.
What we want to do:
There is about 10-15 of us working at any given time on Windows 2k machines. We constantly need to send information to each other and let new staff coming in know the days events etc. We have messenger, but it doesn't do all that we need.
What we are looking for is something that just sits in the systray on each persons computer. Anyone can add a message to it, maybe even select if the message is low/medium/high priority and sort by colors. Once a message is added, it shows who added the message, the date/time it was added, and also plays a sound or gives some type of indication that there was an update. Also, we would want the information to stay there for a set amount of time, or until manually removed. So we are sure that all staff has a chance to see it.
Anyone have any recommendations?
