There are likely to be appeals, angst over the conviction but they will be tame.

It's not the first time Rev. Sharpton had tried to help White victims of police brutality.

Interesting.
Not knowing all the info the Jury was presented, I'll assume it was a good call on their part.

Still a tragedy that this country is so heavily armed, that police feel the need to shoot first and ask questions later. But when they can be killed in the blink on an eye, paranoia must abound. Every human becomes a nail, and their trigger finger a hammer. This case, like all the others, is part of our Great American Tragedy. A pox, on all our houses.
Sorry it’s a tragedy that police are so poorly trained their first reaction is to shoot.

What's sad is policing in America is fucked up!!
There are many instances where the police screw up but because they screwed up in good faith not knowing any better, you as a citizen have no recourse! Why? Because qualifies immunity covers their ass!
Yet once a court has ruled such as the case with an auditor named Battousai --- Now there is case law and officers don`t have qualified immunity -- in other words they cannot claim ignorance.... There are many video about thios on youtube -- I chose a short one with the final outcome!!

Yes, there are so many situations when we can see police brutality or other actions when they are wrong, but most of the officers are never responsible for their actions.
Who will protect people from police?
Always record any interaction you have with police, it can save you at that time or later.
