White Staticy Lines On Screen w/ VP6 + GF2Pro

Has anyone heard anything in terms of compatibility with these two? I have the 3D Prophet II GTS PRO / 64MB and the Abit VP6. I'm getting intermitent horizontal 'lines' appearing on the screen. It looks almost like static on the screen. Someone had told me that there was a voltage issue, but I wasn't sure if there was any remedy for it. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them ..

Sounds like a problem I had with my voodoo2 card. It was caused by setting the gamma (brightness) settings too high.

it sounds like something that happens on my leadtek geforce2 and asus cusl2
i just attributed it to sloppy nvidia drivers again and ignored it

is your card clocked? if so, clock it down!!! i just had a prophet 2 MX die on me for no reason with lots of artifacts and lock-ups, even after i clocked it back down!...
