So I have an IBM Thinkpad T20, got it from their ebay store like lots of you problaby about 1.5 yrs ago.
I've noticed that there are 5 white spots (not dead pixels, just the area is brighter) I've read on newsgroups that this is cause by the plastic arches behind the LCD. See my screen
I'm wondering if anybody else has this problem and how it went when u called IBM to warranty it.
I'm a college student and this yr I decided to leave my desktop at home and only take the laptop so I can't really send it out.
PS: I have always taken great care of this laptop and until the start of this school yr (about 1 month ago) its only seen very light use (library etc).
