Another Chicagoan here (15 years and counting...I'm 21) and I'm glad to see a baseball team finally come this far. For most of my life I knew as much about baseball as I did about girls (that is, nil) and I only recently got involved when the Cubs showed signs of life a bouple years ago. Though they stumbled, the Sox are here to carry the torch all the way for Chicago (unlike many Chicago baseball fans, I'm not into the North-South rivalry)

Carry the torch is right, as in this city is gonna burn if they win the series.

I haven't suffered as long as most Sox fans (I'm only 26), but it sure feels good to be in the WS.

Chicago will be rockin' come Saturday night for Game 1.

Now the hard part, finding tix.

Comiskey was rocking Wednesday for Game 2, I can't imagine how much louder or wilder it could get.

I watched the game at a bar called Puffer's, in Bridgeport (The Comiskey neigborhood) and when they won I played "Nah Nah Hey Hey Goodbye" on my bagpipes.

small ball! small ball! small ball! I swear if i have to listen to announcers espouse the glory of small ball one more time...

Other than that, the White Sox are a great team. Congrats on making it.
