I only follow baseball this time of year, but it is cool seeing the underdog do good. Also good to see the Yankees lose

Eh, the team thats led the AL since day one isn't quite the underdog. Maybe according to a bunch of people who dont know much about baseball and just follow well known teams over time.

This will be good. If my Astros make it, it will be there first in our 40+ year franchise history. We were also underdogs! woof woof biatch!!!! Take that Cards!!!

We were 2-1 underdogs... hell we were underdogs from before the playoffs started all the way through the playoffs. I bet even when we get to the World Series *crosses fingers*, that we will STILL be considered underdogs. Houston doesn't get much respect in sports for some reason. Hell, our Rockets were underdogs against the Orlando Magic with Shaq and the New York Knicks.... yet we won back to back against both teams. 🙂

I hope we pull it off. This one be one amazing World Series.

The White Sox did nothing wrong. Besides, they destroyed LA accross the board. Bunch of damn non-baseball fans whining their assess off about something they dont even know about.

I haven't suffered as long as most Sox fans (I'm only 26), but it sure feels good to be in the WS.

Chicago will be rockin' come Saturday night for Game 1.

Now the hard part, finding tix.

Another Chicagoan here (15 years and counting...I'm 21) and I'm glad to see a baseball team finally come this far. For most of my life I knew as much about baseball as I did about girls (that is, nil) and I only recently got involved when the Cubs showed signs of life a bouple years ago. Though they stumbled, the Sox are here to carry the torch all the way for Chicago (unlike many Chicago baseball fans, I'm not into the North-South rivalry)
