White rims on a White Acura TL 6sp MT? Stupid looking?

I'm in the process of ordering the a-spec suspension and am looking at some lightweight 18" rims. I don't want to look riced up, I actually like the look of stock wheels but they are dogs at 25lbs and almost 49lbs with tires.



it'll be lowered 1 inch and I'm looking at either volk te37, gram lights 57f, or advan rc2, tc2

if not white rims, what are your opinion of black rims on a white car

Red, yellow, gray, black - all would look good and be better than white. Metallic blue would be pretty cool.

White wheels are great on a white car if you want your car to look like a 1990 Pontiac Bonneville. Otherwise I would go gunmetal, silver, black or gold in that order of preference.

yeah forgot white is definitely a no no with brembo brakes on the TL. I get massive amounts of dust each day, I think spidey07 or anyone else with the 6sp TL can attest to this.

If you are doing the A-Spec get the A-Spec wheels.

I had an '04 Anthracite A-Spec TL and they are nice looking wheels.

I once saw the OPs car with 18" HFP rims painted black, and it looked infreakingcredible. You might want to look into it.

My car is difficult to get wheels for cus of the special suspension it came with on the ACR version I have cus of the lowered spring perches on my struts. Only certain sizes/offsets will fit it but yes I've seen some srt's with some nice looking wheels.

Nah, I meant these painted black. I seen them on your car, and they are original Honda parts so the fitment might be just right. I paid roughly 1100 when I bought them for my Civic.

I wish I had a pic of it on your car, it looked nice as hell without being ricey. Maybe someone can do a photoshop. 🙂

EDIT: Also, when I said your car, I meant the OPs TL...lolol I thought you were the OP.

The version of the srt I own came stock with different suspension then the regular srt4 so I don't have a large selection of wheels I can put on unless I change out the suspension but I wish I could put on wheels like those in black as they'd look hot.
