Now if you'd said "liberals can be racist", you'd be perfectly right. Liberals are not immune from racist tendencies. However liberals tend to not support racist behavior when it's revealed in their fold. Conservatives on the other hand ARE racist, there's no can be. It is a requirement to be a conservative in the US that you have to be racist. It's always been that way. And unlike liberals, when conservatives see another conservative be blatantly racist, they support and defend him.

I think reading this actually dropped my IQ. Thanks a lot.
Now I have to go read that Quantum Physics book again.

We tend to be enamored with the unexpected appearing to be familiar. Like an Asian with a Texas accent or an African with a British accent. These types of occurrences are so contrary to our pre-conceptions that it leaves us overly impressed and colours our judgment of that person.

So in this situation the usual musings of a European seems more impressive when it appears to come from an Asian. It is just unexpected from that source, even if it might be mediocre otherwise.

It is a form of racism, even a type of Superiority based racism. However, it is generally a benign form, not having malevolent intent, but still not truly appreciative of other Cultures /Races unique perspectives.

IOW, I doubt this is an Affirmative Action situation. That's mostly just an Accounting type of decision making. I think the Publishers may have actually been impressed by the poetry from that source.

All of this was mostly just me thinking out loud and possibly would not survive scientific scrutiny though. :D

Oh, the irony.

FerrelGeek decries a specific person - thraashman - for making negative generalizations about conservatives. And then in the next sentence he makes negative generalizations about liberals.

It was meant to point out that his behavior is symptomatic of many on the left, as evidenced by others on this forum; not all, but a fair number. Say one critical thing about #blacklivesmatter? you're branded a racist. Say that it's not unreasonable that most women can afford birth control? you're branded a misogynist. Express frustration about our problem with illegals? you're branded a xenophobe. Say anything disparaging about militant Islamic terrorism? you're branded an Islamaphobe.

Agreed that not all libs do this just as not all cons are racists. But our dear boy thrash is far from alone in his opinion. Shira, though I don't always agree with you, I consider you a cut above most of the posters on here. Not that my opinion matters, but hey take if for what it's worth.

Chinese poetry:

<Shī Shì Shí Shī Shǐ>
“Shí Shì Shī Shì Shī Shì, Shì Shī, Shì Shí Shí Shī.Shì Shí Shí Shì Shì Shì Shī. Shí Shí, Shì Shí Shī Shì Shì. Shì Shí, Shì Shī Shì Shì Shì. Shì Shì Shì Shí Shī, Shì Shǐ Shì, Shǐ Shì Shí Shī Shì Shì. Shì Shí Shì Shí Shī Shī, Shì Shí Shì. Shí Shì Shī, Shì Shǐ Shì Shì Shí Shì. Shí Shì Shì, Shì Shǐ Shì Shí Shì Shí Shī. Shí Shí, Shǐ Shí Shì Shí Shī, Shí Shí Shí Shī Shī. Shì Shì Shì Shì.”
So elegant in its simplicity.

Aw, shucks. Now I have to behave myself.
