White or Blue shirt?

i would go dark blue for evening event not work related.

white is more conservative.

besides blue brings out the color in your eyes

White, you look like a politicial IMO

 

I like blue oxfords better with suits. Stay away from white - it's so "George W. Bush" with a striped red and blue tie.

It depends on the occasion, shade of blue and shade of the ties. I wouldn't wear a blue shirt with a red tie personaly though.

i've got gray and silver colored shirts for that

Personally I'd get a black or a red shirt and a real tie.....

In your case, I'd go white.
