I have bitched many times about the rust on my white Mazda MPV, but some neighbors have a white sienna they bought new two years ago and already have some rust on it. They are, understandably, pissed off. They took it to the dealer who said oh that's not rust, so they brought it somewhere else which cleaned it up and put some coat on it (BTW I've not seen the van, I will soon for interest's sake), but that is amazing to me that after only two years they'd already have rust. I know Toyota's trucks like to snap in half but I thought that issue was solved and in any case this is body panels!
Nonetheless, I am never buying a white vehicle again. Even a tiny bit of rust is painfully obvious.
