His MOTHER thought it was him? Dang! Reminds me of a local couple who had robbed a store. One of the local news channels did a reenactment, and the girl turned herself in thinking they were caught on film.

It's a clever disguise, but give him an additional ten years for choosing a black mask. There's too much crap between the races now to tolerate people increasing it for criminal gain.

That kinda sucks. If you are trying to get away with something it isn't "racist" to make yourself as least likely a suspect as possible. Shrug, I won't lose any sleep over it if he does though.

Probably not racist, but still a bother to society. Generally I approve of bothers to society, but not once they start robbing banks. :D

Maybe he just used the black mask because then it would distance him as far as possible from being suspected since he is white?

lol. That would totally work too.

I want to see a man dressed as a woman dressed as a man. So it would be a guy wearing a bra with fake silicone boobs but wearing a man's suit with a fake beard

That made me laugh, thanks.

We may well be approaching political correctness from another angle, a time when cops are forced to issue an APB for "a bank robber - we really aren't sure of anything beyond that." (If memory serves there was actually a movie built on that theme, a man pretending to be a woman playing a male part, or vice versa, or maybe I dreamed it.) A variation of the old "I'm more man than you'll ever be and more woman than you'll ever have", only with guns.

I agree, this was smart. He made the one mistake most crooks do, he let his guard down for someone. If he had just kept everything to himself especially his disguise, he probably could have pulled a job once a year with very little issue.
