why don't you see couples where the man is white and woman is black?
is there something wrong or unattractive about black women?

Isn't there generally a lack of interest in black women across the board and not just white guys? There's like an okcupid trend/statistical analysis of it from a while back.
It's a growing demographic. *shrug*
There are lots of reasons for it being less common; cultural, racial, economic, you name it.
In the end, it all adds up to people finding each other and being happy, hopefully.
The numbers from that study showed I believe a less than 2% difference in which races white men contacted on okcupid. It was like 65/66% or something. Another study done online said black females were the most contacted by non black males.

I just remember vaguely the gist of it for the ok trend was that black women were the least contacted while being the least discriminatory on who they contacted.
No idea. All I know is I love good looking ladies of any race, colour or creed. I imagine it's more the opposite though, the ladies not caring much for white guys.
Of course I am reminded of the Louis CK sketch where he tries to ask out the checkout lady. Very amusing.

that's just for 1 site though
Funny thing is that the OKCupid study showed that white guys are the most in-demand of all races, while also being the pickiest (having the lowest response rates when contacted by women of all races).
Although it's also important to note that men as a whole are a LOT more likely to respond when a woman hits them up than the other way around. Which isn't at all surprising.
It's a general trend. There's no reason to believe that things are significantly different on other dating sites. Maybe if there are specialized dating sites for people looking for different-race partners; those would definitely show different results.
It would be interesting to know if pay sites have data like this as well. Since OKCupid is free, it's looking at a very general population. The pay sites are more likely to have only people "serious" about dating others.
