White MacBook Early 2009

Bought this Macbook lat year, around june. It's been great except for the casing! Track pad button stopped clicking a couple months ago, got that fixed. A month later, the battery cover (white part held by glue) is starting to detach from the battery. I didn't bother getting it fixed yet since apple store is an hour and a half away. There is a noticeable amount of space between the side of the laptop and the top casing (keyboard area). I can wedge my finger nail between it. Lastly, I just noticed, the bezel is cracked near the left speaker.

So many problems with this case, I'm sending it to apple I think since my warranty is up in 71 days. I honestly think I'm going to have these issues after my warranty expires, I cannot afford the warranty either. The magnets, where the lid closes, the casing is starting to become indented and soon I think it will crack.

What should I do, apple said since this is only my second repair they cannot replace it, if I wanted to try, i could go to the apple store and they could do something but he couldn't guarantee it. The only reason I wont go to the apple store is because I doubt they will replace my laptop and its a long drive.

Suggestions? This laptop is under a year old and the casing is absolutely terrible imho

Cracking in the casing is covered under a special warranty. Even if the rest of the system is out of warranty, they will replace cracked topcases and bottom cases for free if they show signs of fatigue, not abuse. The cracking on the palmrest where the lid closes is common.

Yeah I figured as much. Is back light bleeding also a common issue? I'm trying to get all these issues sorted out before my warranty is up so I can have a perfect running laptop hopefully for the next coming years.

The backlight bleed might be within tolerances, without seeing it I cannot say how bad it is. You could be very sensitive to it, or it could be horribad. Take it into a store, see what they say.
