Un fucking believable the nitwits we have in charge. Can't wait for todays news briefing Spencer is going to be even more spastic. It's going to be fun watching him try and wither out of this lie. And Mick Mulvaney is such a tool in this video

Watch this video if you can.

Washington (CNN)The scant border fence pointed out at a White House news briefing turns out to be a temporary construction fence, workers say.

It's actually just part of the construction site and the chain-link fence was put by the workers to fill the gaps of an older border fence, according to the workers and law enforcement officials on the Sunland Park, New Mexico, site.
At the White House briefing, Budget Director Mick Mulvaney on Tuesday pointed to photographs of a skimpy chain link fence and referred to it as the old US border wall.
"This doesn't stop drugs and doesn't stop criminal from crossing the border," Mulvaney said. "In fact, it doesn't stop hardly anything from crossing the border."

When asked about where the site in the photo was, Mulvaney said he "didn't know where it [was] being built."

Since Jan 20, 2017 lie, and White House has become redundant.

I've almost given up on my Donald J. Trump bullshit thread. Too much material to keep up.

IMO the sad thing is, what will likely happen eventually is the American public will generally wake up to the easily proven lies that this administration keep peddling, so at some point American governance will return to the previous status quo: less easily proven lies, not as often, headed by an administration that knows how to handle PR.

However, I hope that this administration's extreme labelling for any press organisation that calls them out on their shit might create a longer-term improvement yet: Reinvigorated press organisations with a a renewed thirst for facts over opinion and catching the government with their pants down might hold future, less crooked governments to task more aggressively than before.

I guess they were too lazy to send a photographer out to take pics of the real border fence? It would have made their point better as the majority of border fence is still five strand barb wire cattle fence.

Thread title is misleading. Should only require the first 3 words.
And yet you know the Trumpites still call her "Lying Hillary" even though she's nowhere near the rate at which Donald lies. Hell, I don't know if anyone COULD lie as much as Donald if they tried. Most people have at least some morals, just not the deplorables and their god-pharoah

Historical record has value.
Just imagine someone makes a mistake next decade. They'll be called as bad as Trump.
Keep the bible of Trumpism, keep it growing, and when the time comes you toss it at them.

They seem to just not care at all. Not a shred of decency left in any of them. Bald faced lies are the norm, easily refuted garbage, and they still pump it out. Speaks to how despicable the bunch of them are and how they view the ability to disseminate information of those that support them.

That old Jedi mind fvcking trick that they've relied on for nigh on decades just don't work like it used to. Or maybe it's because their new Darth Emperor misread the instruction manual for his job. Where it read "The Force is your source of power" he mistakenly replaced the "o" in "Force" with an "a".

Dunno about the majority of it but we don't need giant barricades in places so remote & inhospitable that nobody tries to cross in those locations.

It's not like we're currently being "invaded", either.

Oh, I know, but that's because I live near the border. An actual border wall would be an environmental catastrophe.

The pictures were just a symbolic representation of the message and not intended to depict actual events.

It's conceivable that somebody could have trolled the story on the Trumpistas.

If so, well done. Bravissimo!

CNN doubled down last night saying the white house will not respond to them about the issue.

Mick Mulvaney reminds me of Joseph Goebbels

Was Baghdad Bob ever picked up?

On 25 June 2003, the British newspaper The Daily Mirror reported that al-Sahhaf had been captured by coalition troops at a roadblock in Baghdad.[8] The report was not confirmed by military authorities and was denied by al-Sahhaf's family through Abu Dhabi TV. The next day al-Sahhaf himself recorded an interview for the Dubai-based news channel, al-Arabiya.[9] He was reportedly paid as much as $200,000 for the television interview, during which he appeared very withdrawn in contrast with the bombastic persona he projected during the war. Many of his answers consisted of a simple "yes" or "no". He refused to speculate on the causes of the downfall of the Iraqi government and answered only "history will tell" when asked if video clips purporting to prove that Saddam Hussein was alive were genuine, amid speculation at that time that Hussein had been killed during the war.

His fame quickly evaporated as the war continued into the insurgency phase; from the middle of 2003 onward, he faded from the public spotlight, and was no longer a figure in the war. Al-Sahhaf said that he had surrendered to US forces, had been interrogated by them and released.[10][11] He was not charged for his role in Saddam Hussein's government.

When asked where he had got his information he replied, "authentic sources—many authentic sources".[12] He pointed out that he "was a professional, doing his job".[12] He is now living in the United Arab Emirates with his family.[citation needed] In November 2014, Swedish newspaper Expressen posted a video of an ill man, claimed to be Al-Sahhaf, in a hospital bed in the UAE, claiming that he was dying.[13]

Trump spews infinite bullshit hoping some makes it past the barriers.

The problem with that is his supporters have no barriers to speak of. To them Trump speak is gospel speak.

Their belief in him justifies their belief in him and his every spoken word. All of it.

Scary for sure, but there they are.
