I don't know why our rabid progressives are calling on me for this... can someone tell me what's going on and why it's a big deal? World leaders meeting other world leaders... if this is so bad, why is no one screaming about western leaders snuggling up to middle-eastern leaders? Double standards? No big deal?

...I read the CNN article but don't get what the problem is. Maybe because I don't have the "progressive" lenses that everything russian is evil (which is ironic since our lefties WANT communism!)

...and CNN isn't exactly what I'd call a reputable source these days. Anyone remember the Fallout 4 = Russian Hacking stories?

Because he specifically referenced memes before posting a picture of one of the memes. I don't know him good enough to accuse him of that level of stupidity, just seemed like alien didn't get the joke (whether or not it was funny is, of course, a matter of taste).

Next up, the "Golden Showers with Donny Boy" vid on YouTube if Mr. Trump refuses to/cannot make good on getting waivers for the ExxonMobil/Rosneft "Drill for Riches" oil deal.

The walls are closing in, the flood waters are rising and the cracks that are spreading in the dam that Trump is trying to plug with his usual outright blatant lying are getting too numerous and too big to keep from having the whole works collapsing on itself.

So again I ask those folks who gave Trump his margin of victory: "WTF?"

Getting there, but not fast enough is how I feel. Trump needs to have much more pressure applied to his inflated ego. He's still got enough support from the Repubs in the legislature and from his support base to keep up the transparent charade he's putting up, but I think rather than having his windbags getting deflated from a slow leak thus giving him a chance to leave office with a semblance of dignity, his ultimate downfall is going to look more like a balloon that got shot point blank with a punt gun.

And, I think out of desperation, he's going to be pointing an accusing finger directly at "that double crossing stab in the back" Pence as the ring leader who organized the whole conspiracy to get him out of office. You know, just to go out leaving his audience wanting more and also having a nice big bang while he steps out of the wreck of a White House like the big time showman that he sees himself as would need to.
