Attention, attention. Since some people have difficulty telling whats a fake quote and whats a real quote so I offer the following disclaimer
The following quotes by Donald Trump, Jeff Session and Mike Pence are fake. I made them up as a form of commentary on the type of people they are. The fake quotes were used instead of a long winded commentary because they get the point across to a % of readers much quicker than writing out a long paragraph.

Warning - The following fake quotes may be upsetting to some individuals.
Read at your own risk
---- Start of Fake quotes-------
Trump: "Why are we wasting time watching non-muslims?"
Sessions: "There is no need for talking or watching. Let law enforcement arrest the brown people without restriction"
Pence: "We need to limit the scope because this program has been impacting some friends of mine doing the lords work concerning the gays and jews"
---- End of Fake quotes-------

Now with that out of the way, below is a link to an actual news article. where I have taken some relevant sections and pasted them into the quote block.
White House budget slashes 'countering violent extremism' grants
The budget proposal unveiled by the White House on Tuesday cut all funding to a Department of Homeland Security program known as "countering violent extremism," which provides grants to communities to counter radicalism through outreach.

The program, whose roots go back to the Obama administration, has come under scrutiny by the Trump administration and some congressional Republicans who favor law enforcement, rather than community outreach, to fight what they see as a growing Islamic extremist threat.

At the beginning of the administration, some White House and DHS officials considered changing the name of the program to "countering Islamic extremism," and refocusing the funding only on grants that dealt with the Islamic community, not other communities that may have extremist views like white supremacists.

The Trump administration has frozen $10 million in grants allocated at the end of the Obama administration under the countering violent extremism program and has yet to reallocate the funds.

The funding cuts proposed by the budget would reduce the $50 million currently allocated for the program down to zero for fiscal year 2018.

Congress must vote to pass the budget and it will likely be amended before being enacted.

The budget also eliminates the U.S. Institute of Peace, and spends the money on more weapons for the military. I know that sounds like a joke, but it isn't.

The US insitute of peace? hahaha. ridiculous.

And didn't everyone think that the outreach shit was patronizing, pointless, or even counter-productive? How could it not be. So more weapons for the military is clearly a better way to spend the money. Radicalism outreach...

Countering Violent Extremism Grants? How can I apply for one?

Sounds like something incredibly stupid and wasteful that needs to be cut.

Selling weapons to the Saudis is far more effective radicalism outreach. You're right we need more money to make more weapons to sell to the Saudis so they can pass them to the terrorists more effectively. Cause ISIS is two dudes and a blind goat by this point. I'm calling BS on the whole "we need billions of dollars to finish the job" thing. It's just more money to distribute arms around the world. Reagan did this crap selling weapons to terrorists in the 80s and here we go again.

That money should go towards the impeachment fund.

And that attitude will continue to create extremists. By all means, let the hate flow.

BS. Knowing your neighbor will kill you if you punch his wife in the face won't make everyone in your house punch everyone in your neighbor's house in the face. One is a reactive and the other is proactive. I hate people who want to kill me and that's PERFECTLY logical. Them hating me is completely ILLOGICAL. Case in point, if we totally pulled out of the middle east and left them alone, there is no way they would stop killing random people.

Regressives are easily confused. It's hard for them to imagine that buying weapons is ever a good idea, so they lose sight of the fact that the idea of radicalism outreach is stupid. What? can't compute. Bombs can't be the answer! Meals on wheels all over again! Don't they realize that you can't feed the elderly with bombs! Terrible substitute!

Funding can be re-assigned, and sometimes with entirely different purposes in mind. So instead of trying to feed the elderly with weapons, they're actually disregarding the elderly. Make sense? In this case, instead of continuing a shitty program, they will spend the money on weapons, since that's where all the money is going nowadays.

Why would they stop? They hate us, and it won't go away overnight. And it certainly wont go away by attacking them more.

Here's an idea, let's try something different for a change. Our war machine has been raging for decades.

Using your very logic, they hate us too, because we kill them on a regular basis.

If you don't think that impacts others, I'm not sure what to tell you

the best way to beat them is with a 1100 sq ft house 2.2 kids and a mortgage.

Pfft! That means investing and building up their country and Republicans and righty's alike don't even like spending on their own people (the USA).

Sounds like you didn't read the linked article. I mean, why would you, right? Whatever Trump does is fine by you.

Dangerous nutbars gravitate towards extreme ideology. Update at 11.

LOL! Leave it you to demonstrate your usual unhinged stupidity! And trying to call someone else out for what you're clearly guilty of- CLASSIC flush!

Now go and actually read the article, dummy!

You're always good for a laugh!

Extremists don't need to like "us," they need to be killed.

These types have unique insight about the best way to deal with themselves.

I understand your logic and I'm not even disagreeing with your point. I also think we should change things up and redirect our efforts from war-mongering to something more productive, but that isn't the point I was trying to make nor does it conflict with the one I did make. I don't think they'd stop overnight or at all, which was my point. Even if we didn't mess with them for several years, I doubt they'd stop trying to kill us. I would love to be proven wrong, however, as that would be a win for everyone.

ISIS & such are basically their Teahad Party. Just as our nationalists look to take advantage (eg Trump) whenever some ISIS guy kills a few white folks, they're strengthen by the west killing a bunch of muslims. Ceasing the latter won't magically erase ISIS off the map, but decreases the appeal of that message.
