White House, Air Force One, Also Terror Targets

Investigators now believe that the White House and Air Force One were also targeted by the band of terrorists that slammed three airliners into the World Trade Center and Pentagon yesterday.

White House press secretary Ari Fleischer told reporters Wednesday afternoon that the FBI now has evidence that the plane that hit the Pentagon was originally intended for an attack on the White House.

The president's plane, Air Force One, was also on the terrorists' target list, Fleischer said.
