White ground in EQ with Radeon 8500LE

Recently I helped a friend build a system. She reported of having problems in EQ. Problems such as the ground in EQ is white, in which no graphics is shown. She said she tried the latest Radeon drivers, 4in1 drivers and it is still no go. What could it be?


System Specs:

AMD 1900+
ASUS A7v266-E
512 Crucial DDR PC2100
Radeon 8500LE
SB Live!
WD400BB

 
Try changing the Z-buffer to 16
This should be changeable under advanced settings for graphics card. Under video properties then Direct3d Tab.
