Ever since I started working white collar it seems like I'm addicted to ties, I see one I want everytime I go to the mall or store.

What's your count? I'm up to 14.
 
i think i have one tie that i borrowed from my dad when i was a pall bearer at a funeral. I went to goodwill and got a sport jacket and white button up shirt for about $10 total, wore black slacks. I don't own a suit and don't ever plan to. I wear black/navy/khaki slacks and solid polos or short sleeve button ups w/o a tie to work.
 
I have like 2 or 3... which is exactly how often I need to wear them every year, working at home.
 
i have 4 ties, dont wear any of em to work. pull-over shirt with a pair of jeans is the norm here. except for friday, then its hawaiian shirt day
 
I owned 15-20 of them at one point, and wore all of them regularly (almost a rotation...but some more than others).

When we went to business casual (oh what a great day that was 🙂) I stopped wearing most of them because I was now wearing them only to "serious" events (Wedding, Formal Dinner, etc) and alot of my ties wouldn't be approiate for such an occaision.

Then I got married and discovered that apparently I had no taste in ties....ever.

I now have about 10.... the novelty ties (Harley Davidson, USA, Michigan, etc) and a couple that have been hand picked by the missus....cause I cannot be trusted to pick out my own. lol 😀
