OK, so I kinda enjoy the texture of white castle burgers- what the hell is steam grilling? I mean, how does one use steam to grill something?
It is used to cook many products (as Viper GTS alludes to) as well as used in the processing of retorted goods.Originally posted by: Viper GTS
Steam can burn the hell out of you, why wouldn't it be able to cook something?

They actually spray a little water on the grill and cover them I think. I've seen it done at other places before.

The holes are in there to allow the steam to permeate better.
Or so they say. I say 5 of those holes is enough for one whole burger!
