White bar when using Vivo

I've been trying to use my VIVO on my video card and I got it to work, except my files all have a large white bar across them...any ideas on how to remedy this? I read online some places that I should downgrade to the 1.08 drivers (using the newest 2.26 WDM drivers) and when I did that the bar went away, but the colors were off on the capture.

Any ideas?

Edit: I'm recording from my camcorder, not a DVD or DVD player...so macrovision shouldn't be the problem
